About the "Easy to Drive" sets

The goal with these sets is to provide a configuration that is both easy to drive and competitive. There is a saying, "loose is fast", and top drivers may be able to swing a very loose set, but if a driver ends up in the wall or spinning every third lap, they aren't even going to finish the race. Speed through consistencey is the name of the game. My first win came not by being the fastest, but because everyone else wrecked around me. That isn't to say that these sets are slow, either. I placed third in Div9 of the SK Mod championship my first season racing (2009 S3), and Larry McPhee took 1st in Div10 using these sets exclusively.

Place the .sto files in the "C:\my documents\iRacing\setups\[CarName] directory for the appropriate car and then apply them to the car with the "My Setups" button in the iRacing garage.

"Easy to Drive" oval car sets - Past Seasons
These are old sets. They may or may not work well with the 2010 Season 1 build and onward. Most should make for a good base, but will probably need another click or two of fuel and other adjustments.
